Administration of Protocols &Public Relations
Objective of the Administration:
Portraying the civilized image of the state through control of works in their timeline, as well as arranging works, effecting firm discipline along with the needed control and coordination for performing each activity
. Tasks and Competencies of the Administration:
First: Department of Protocols:
- Organizing the official interviews of HE the President of the Republic, the two vice presidents and the two ministers of the Cabinet at the Secretariat of the Cabinet.
Preparing for the internal and external visits paid the President of the Republic His two Vice Presidents and the two ministers of the Cabinet.
. Preparing for the visits paid by the heads of governments and their deputies in coordination with agencies concerned.
Following up the enforcement of the national flag Act.
Organizing the protocols of oath of office taking, presenting the plenipotentiary credentials, the orders, legions of honor and official banquets.
Organizing official invitations and celebrations for HE the President of the Republic his two Vice Presidents and the two Ministers of the Cabinet.
Proposing types of presents to be presented by the official delegations leaving the country for the sisterly countries as well as the presents presented to the official delegations visiting the country.
Organizing the participation of the Ministers in representing the government in the celebrations organized by the accredited embassies in Sudan in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Overseeing grooming of the venue of the Secretariat of the Cabinet for national days and anniversaries.
Participating in preparation and executing different conferences and anniversaries.
Getting acquainted with the protocol performance in the ministries and the states.
Preparing files of bilateral relations with all countries as well as making databases for countries in a manner that realizes completion and renewal of information in the political , economic , social and cultural domains.
Second:
Department of Public Relations
Working on portraying the civilized image of the country via control of work in their timeline arranging work as well as effecting discipline, control and firm coordination required for performing each activity.
Participating in preparation and organization of all activities and public celebrations.
Working on creating and strengthening viable relations amidst the personnel of the Secretariat of the Cabinet in a manner that develops and improves work environment towards upgrading performance.
Issuing ,publicizing and broadcasting congratulation and condolence telegrams and the telegrams sent in religious and national occasions.
Preparation of files for bilateral relations with all countries in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Giving proposal on arrangement of the shapely appearance of the Secretariat of the Cabinet (reception, utilities, corridors, halls and the main ministerial offices in a manner that realizes shapeliness and portraying the image of the state.
Receiving the gests of the Secretariat of the Cabinet and those dealing with it and facilitate their missions.
Working on creating good relations with the different ministries , government units, the Legislature and the sovereignty body, states government in a manner that enables performing the administration’s tasks competently.
