Executive Authority
The national executive authority shall consist of the Presidency of the Republic and the National Council of Ministers.
President of the Republic: He is the head of State and government and represents the will of the people and the authority of the State. The president is elected for a term of five years renewable for a once time.
The Council of Ministers: The President of the Republic shall, after consultation with the Presidency of the Republic, establish the Council of Ministers, which shall be responsible for planning in the State, drafting bills, national budgets, international treaties and agreements as well as follow up to the State’s executive performance and reviewing it.
