Prime Minister briefed on the performance of the Ministry of Justice

The First Vice-President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, reviewed the performance of the Ministry of Justice during the first quarter of this year and its plan for the coming period, especially with regard to the field of legislation, training and human rights,

This came during a meeting on Tuesday, 14 August 2018, in his office with the Minister of Justice, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Salem, Minister of Justice, who explained in a press statement that the meeting dealt with preparations of the Ministry of Justice for the Arab Justice Ministers Conference No. 34, to be held in Khartoum during the month of November, Noting that the meeting also touched on the preparations of the Ministry in coordination with the relevant authorities to prepare for the session (39) of the Human Rights Council in Geneva. The Minister of Justice said that he presented a report to the First Vice President on the position of the Ministry's implementation of the recommendations of the national dialogue related to the legislative aspect, explaining that the meeting reviewed the efforts of the ministry in developing the profession of law through the examination of the profession of equivalence.
