Governance and Administration Sector Approves Bill of Central Bureau of Statistics

Governance and Administration Sector  has approved in its meeting on Wednesday morning August 8, 2018 at the premises' of Ministry of Justice chaired by  the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Information Dr. Ahmed Bilal Osman the bill of the Central Bureau of Statistics  Organization presented by State Minister  at the Council of Ministers, Mr. Osman Ahmad Fadul Wash  prior to ascending  it  to the Council of Ministers.
The  said Sector has  also approved a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States of America on promoting  police cooperation between the two countries,
The  memo was presented  by the  Minister of Interior Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamed. The sector was briefed on the position of draft laws and agreements related to the sector ministries tabled  before  the Ministry of Justice.
The sector recommended the need for firm  coordination between the Central bureau of statistics and other statistical institutions in the country to integrate statistical operations in supporting decision-making in various fields.
