State Minister at Council of Ministers Addresses Opening Session of Conference of Evaluation of Academic Education
State Minister at the Ministry of the Cabinet Osman Ahmad Fadl wash, the representative of the Minister of the Cabinet has addressed at the Police premises , the opening session of the events of the conference of evaluating academic education on Communication and Media.
Wash has affirmed the state dire need for the contributions of expatriates, scholars and Sudanese experts abroad in changing the walks of life and contributing in all aspects of life in a manner that produces good indicators .
He pointed out that the conference of evaluation of academic education on communication and media represents a strong link between professionals and academicians in the field of the press and media due to the state need for exchanging view points as outlook for the necessary inevitable change
The minister further stress the need for a press bound by the law in a manner that boost joint responsibility between the media and the state
For his part, Dr. Karrar Al-Tuhami, Secretary-General of the Scretariat of the Sudanese Working Abroad, noted that the idea of the conference is based on managing the dialogue between practicing media profession and learning it , pointing out that the conference is a part of the expansive thinking of the Sudanese scholars abroad and their contributions in the various fields of development.
Meanwhile dr. Mahmoud Gadir the chair of Media Sector at the Council of Experts and Sudanese scholars abroad, said that the conference aims to provide the profession with what the expertise acquired by the Sudanese media staff abroad in this field either in education or practice in order to improve the reality of life through the transfer of ideas and knowledge and to connect the two sides of the profession , the academic and professional parties .
The inaugural session of the conference was attended by a number of Sudanese media icons , academicians and journalists. The program of the conference continues at the police premises , where a number of experts and media professionals are to present specialized papers and forums during this day and tomorrow.
