Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Tariq Tawfiq stressed Presidency of the Council of Ministers interest in developing the medical profession, enhancing its services in the country and supporting productive partnerships between the public and private sectors in this field. This came at the signing ceremony of the partnership contracts of the therapeutic and diagnostic centers of the International Medical City at the Peace Hotel Rotana yesterday evening, which is based on a partnership between the Social Security Investment Authority and the Al-Faisal Medical Group. It contains 21 medical centers including specialized specialties that are first seen in Sudan and a cell lab The first of its kind in the sub-Saharan region and the center of bone marrow transplant and liver and pancreas transplantation center. The International Medical City is located in the heart of Khartoum on Mr. Abdul Rahman Street and consists of fifteen floors.
