Ahmed Saad Omar, Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers presented to the Council of Ministers on Thursday 5 July 2018 the final report of the working group responsible for preparing a unified vision on the incentives of expatriates, which conducted a comprehensive survey of the humanitarian experience in general in various countries of the world and after the assessment of the Sudanese experience ended to specific proposals with the participation of ministries The competent authority includes setting an appropriate exchange rate that encourages the attraction of remittances and savings of expatriates and the establishment of the expatriate bank and the establishment of special controls for real estate finance for expatriates and the use of smart expatriate card in electronic payment and the granting of customs exemptions every five years for cars and the preparation of projects To encourage expatriates to invest and establish public joint stock companies between the public sector and expatriates to work in the field of export and import of production inputs and to strengthen the services provided by the State in the field of general and higher education for the children of the aggressors and reduce fees imposed on expatriates in one fee. To establish a mechanism to follow up the implementation of these resolutions.
