The Prime Minister stresses the importance of coordinating the national program for sustainable development with the quaternary strategy of the state
The First Vice President of the Republic,First prime minister of the council of ministers,lieu/Gen Bakri Hassan Saleh, affirmed the importance of coordinating the National Program for Sustainable Development (2016-2030) with the State's Quarterly Strategy (2007-2031). This came as he presided over Tuesday, July 3, the first meeting of the National Mechanism to oversee the goals of sustainable development after its restructuring. The meeting reviewed the National Voluntary Report on Sustainable Development 2030. And explained d. The Secretary-General of the National Population Council, Lamia Abdel Ghaffar, stated that the report focused on Sudan's efforts in implementing sustainable development goals and the institutional frameworks it established in this field in coordination with ministries, states, development partners in the private sector, civil society organizations and academic institutions. The meeting agreed on the need to follow up the implementation of the objectives of the sustainable development and mobilization program to provide funding for this program and to work towards the settlement of development goals and indicators at all levels of government.
