Economic Development Sector reviews trade agreement between Sudan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania
Minister of Industry dr Musa Mohamed headed, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, met the Economic Development Sector, which reviewed the trade agreement between Sudan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in the framework of supporting and regulating trade relations between the two countries through the exchange of goods and visits between businessmen.
The meeting reviewed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of agriculture between Sudan and the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries of the Republic of Tunisia in the fields of organic agriculture.
The meeting also reviewed the agreement on cooperation in forestry between Sudan and the Republic of Turkey, which aims to combat desertification and drought, and expand afforestation and forestry for the production of seedlings.
The meeting stressed the importance of benefiting from the experiences of countries in the areas of organic agriculture and forestry, and involving civil society sectors and organizations throughout the country in the restoration of the forest belt.
The meeting approved the reports of the ministries on the status of implementation of the recommendations of the national dialogue and the obligations of the reform of the state apparatus until June 2018 presented by the ministers of the sector.
