The Prime Minister heads the meeting of the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah

The First Vice-President of the Republic, Prime Minister Bakri Hassan Saleh, on Wednesday, 9 April 2018, met at the Council premises the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Social and Cultural Development Sector Prof. Sumaya Abuksho, the Minister of Guidance and Endowments, Governors of the states and ministers of social welfare in the states The First Vice President of the Republic affirmed the State's commitment to proceed with the gradual privatization of Hajj and Umrah services, directed at the need to coordinate between the relevant authorities and the states to facilitate the work and procedures of Hajj   The Minister of Guidance and Endowments, Mr. Abu Bakr Othman, said in a press statement that the meeting reviewed the  policies and the general arrangements for the Hajj works in 1439H which included the Federal and state authorities and new foundations to raise the rates of services for the Sudanese pilgrims and maintain the successes achieved in the past years. Indicating that the meeting dealt with the most prominent outputs of the Hajj 1439 H meeting held between the Saudi Minister of Hajj and the Minister of Guidance and Endowments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently, which was agreed on the basis and arrangements for the affairs of the pilgrims of Sudan in 1439H and determine the share of the Sudan number (32,000) . He pointed out that the meeting touched upon the guidelines of the service packages and the criteria for selecting the members of the mission and the heads of the groups to serve the pilgrims.
