The first lieutenant Genaral Bakri Hassan Saleh, the first vice President of the Republic ,prime minister of the Council of Ministers briefed on the results of the visit of the Minister of Justice of each of the mandates of the White Nile and the Red Sea and progress of work in the Ministry of Justice.
This came during his meeting on Tuesday 30 January 2018 at his office in the cabinet, Maulana Idris Ibrahim Jamil, Minister of Justice, who explained in a press statement that the meeting dealt with the legal issues with the provision of housing, in coordination with the Governments of the States, indicating that the situation during his visit to the White Nile, the cornerstone of the residences of advisers of the mandate, to create an environment for them to practice their work in providing legal assistance to establish transparency, impartiality and the extension of the administration of justice. He added that the legal departments of the mandates serve governmental organs through legal advice and review of contracts and documentation as well as to provide legal assistance to all citizens.
The Minister of Justice added that the inauguration of the premises of the legal department in Port Sudan and the cornerstone of the residences of advisers, stating that his ministry is in the process of establishing legal offices in some localities in each State to provide justice in these localities.
Jamil said the meeting also dealt with the need to provide legal assistance to the Sudanese abroad through the emission of officials of the Ministry of Justice to stand on their own.
