The Governance and administration Sector discussed in its meeting on Wednesday 10 January 2018 of the secretariat of the council of ministers headed by Mr. Ahmed Bilal, minister of information and the report of the National Council for coordination of disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of the year 2016 where the report highlighted the many achievements of the Council, the most prominent of which is to enable the Office of the disarmament of the implementation of the plans approved on the ground and effective demobilization of 4,485 a theater and attract new donors to support the program and restore stability in coordination with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and child soldiers who issued a presidential pardon to their relatives.

This sector has approved a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of police training between the Government of the Sudan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and allowed the Convention on the voluntary repatriation of Sudanese refugees living in Chad, Chadian refugees who lived in Sudan for the year 2017.


In a related context, the private sector approved the Protocol against the Smuggling of Migrants by Land, Sea and Air, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime Act of 2017, which aims to strengthen cooperation on the prevention and control of organized crime more cooperation.
