Prime Minister Briefed on Outcome of Sudan's Participation in Meeting of African Caribbean Pacific Group
Khartoum: First Vice President of the Republic , National Prime Minister General psc. Bakri Hassan Salih was acquainted with the outcomes of Sudan's participation in the ministerial meeting of African Caribbean Pacific Group which was recently held in Brussels.
Bakri was briefed on the outcomes of the said meeting while meeting in his office at the Council of Ministers with the Minister of International Cooperation, Ambassador Idris Suleiman who elaborated in a press statement that the meeting has discussed a number of economic, political and social issues.
He noted that there is an active cooperation between the group members and the group represents a platform of cooperation with the European Union .
He further said he has met at the sidelines of the meeting officials from the European Union and discussed with them means for international cooperation between the European union and Sudan .
The Minister said that the European official showed understanding noting that the European Union will support Sudan during the coming period in many spheres elaborating that he has briefed the First Vice President on the outcomes of his visit to Sweden and Fenland expecting a support from Sweden in the different fields.
