The Launch of the second Forum of the directors of statistical Organs in the states

Governor of North Kordofan State, Maulana Ahmed Mohamed Haroun, confirmed the importance of statistical work, indicating that statistical work is the basis for every developmental work in the country.
This came in a speech on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the Capital El-Awbuid, State of North Kordofan, the opening session of the second meeting of the Directors of the statistical organs of the states, which was held under the slogan "Better data for a better life." Maulana Haroun referred to the state transition to the stage of sustainable development based on true and accurate information. In this regard, he welcomed a tripartite partnership between the state government, the Central Statistical Organization and the University of Kordofan to establish the State Development Observatory.
For his part, The State Minister of  the Council of Ministers, Mr. Osman Ahmed Wash, affirmed the ability and effectiveness of the Central Statistical Organization to provide accurate graphic information to the Sudan in proper planning and to strengthen its regional and international position on all issues. Confirming the commitment of the State to provide all support to the National Center for statistics for do the required. role
 
The forum was also addressed by the Minister of Finance in North Kordofan State, Maria Al-Ameen Mohammed, who assured the role of statistics in empowering the state to determine the indicators of the transition from the establishment stage to the stage of growth and development.
