The Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Ahmed Saad Omar, stressed the country's serious efforts to attract expatriate savings and to work on the development of legal policies and legislation that protect the savings, investments and remittances of Sudanese abroad and create an investment climate by benefiting from the decision to lift the economic embargo.

 

This came during his address to the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Sudanese Organization for the Affairs of Foreign Affairs after the restructuring of the new and explained that the determination of the needs and wishes of expatriates will be able to attract their savings and remittances, calling for the need to discuss ways to benefit from the skills of Sudanese return and work to stabilize them in the country to contribute to the process of national economic construction .

 

The meeting discussed a paper on attracting investments, savings and remittances from expatriates, presented by Dr. Karrar Al-Thammi, secretary-general of the Organization for the Affairs of Sudanese Abroad, who explained the importance of the savings of expatriates and benefiting from them in the development projects in the country, pointing out that there is a smart system to attract the savings of expatriates based on strengthening the wall of trust between the expatriate and the state and its institutions Pointing out to the importance of explaining how to attract the savings of expatriates by touring the Sudanese communities with the participation of the relevant bodies.
