Economic Development Sector approves the draft fiscal year 2018

Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Mohamed Osman Soliman Al-Rikabi explained that the budget for the fiscal year 2018 aims at achieving economic stability through reducing inflation rates, stabilizing the exchange rate of the national currency and achieving sustainable economic growth.
He pointed out during the introduction of the draft general budget of the National Government for the year2018, That economic development sector is expected to grow by 4% by the end of 2018, and the inflation average rate will fall to 19.5%, as well as the growth of public investment by 17.6%.
The Minister pointed out that the most important quantitative targets of the budget increase exports from 3.9 billion dollars to 6.1 million dollars and reduce the trade balance deficit, and increase the production of a number of necessary agricultural products and livestock products, gold and oil, As well as an increase in the number of families targeted for health insurance by one million families, And increase the number of families entitled to direct support from 700,000 families to 800,000 families under social support programs, and the budget included the opening of 60,000 new jobs through the absorption of graduates.
The sector approved the draft budget and recommended to the Council of Ministers for approval, praising the efforts of the Ministry of Finance in the preparation of the budget.
