The Secretary-general of the Council of Ministers meets with delegation of British Cooperation Agency

The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Dr. Omar Mohammad Saleh affirms that Sudan is keen to develop relations of cooperation with the British government in various areas, that came during his meeting on Monday, 11 December 2017, the delegation of British Cooperation Agency, in the presence of dr.Sumya Aukaed the state minister of  the ministry of international cooperation and a number of  the directors of the departments of the Council of Ministers.

He stressed the need to expand communation with the British cooperation agency especially in the field of strengthening the capacity-building for workers in the public and private sectors to promote the Sudanese economy and increasing exports, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers  provided an explanation about the efforts of the government in the implementation of the program of reform of the organs of the State in various political, economic and social fields, which came at the initiative of President of the Republic.

The meeting discussed the use of the British experience in different areas and the importance of the implementation of joint programs of cooperation between the two countries.
On his part, Mr. Stephen Dercon , senior advisor to the British cooperation agency  said that their visit to Sudan came in the framework of the strategic dialouge between Sudan and Britain confirming their readiness to offer technical assistance in the various institutions in Sudan.
