Prime Minister Briefed on Agricultural Position & Efforts of Ministry of Agriculture

First Vice President of the Republic . Prime Minister General psc. Bakri Hassan Salih was acquainted with the agricultural position and the efforts made by the Ministry of Agriculture for Summer season harvest.
The Prime Minister was familiarized with agricultural status during his meeting on Sunday December 3/2017 at the Ministry of the Presidency of the Cabinet with professor Abdulatif Al Igeimi .
Al Igeimi outlined in a press statements that the meeting was reassured with the high productivity of sesame, groundnuts and cotton crops and some other crops.
He further noted that the agricultural season has realized a big success considering the good productivity in different crops adding that the meeting touched on agricultural export and the progress of work in the winter season particularly with regards to cultivating wheat crop along with preparation for summer season harvest operations.
Al Igeimi elaborated that has briefed the First Vice President on the ongoing preparations for  launching the national week of agriculture during the period from 23 to 29 of Next March in which outstanding famers will be honored along with representatives from the private sector who entered in contractual partnerships in the agricultural sphere,
