Cabinets Holds Its Regular Forum Under the Theme "Wide Openness Towards International Cooperation

The regular forum  of the Council of Ministers was held on Wednesday November 23 at the General Secretariat of the Cabinet and allocated for the Sudanese Strategy of International Cooperation under the theme wide outwards looking stance toward  international cooperation.
Minister of the Presidency of the Cabinet Ahmed Saad Omer has affirmed that this forum aims at coming up with a strategy that responds to the aspirations of the state towards coping with the international and regional developments and changes as the country is going through the phase of being approached following the lifting of the economic blockade
He called for realizing the theme of the forum via thorough scientific deliberations towards coming up with  recommendations that assist decisions takers to enables them lay down  clear strategy of international cooperation
On his part  Minister of International Cooperation Idriss Suleiman has outlined that this strategy was set up in conformity with a consultative approach with all the relevant agencies and with the participation of all while  it comes for laying down a vision on how to attract aid and manage it
He disclosed that a center was established for collecting information which is the first of its kind in Sudan calling for following up implementation of international agreements which will benefit the country a lot and coming up with a consistent and integrated work.
Meanwhile Atta Al Manan Bakhit State Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that there is a big spirit of cooperation between his Ministry and the Ministry of International Cooperation and there are issues on which this agreement can be based comprising  transfer of other countries' expertise in the field of technology as well as  indigenizing them  via training and unifying the challenges of negotiations as well as boosting relations between the public and the private sector.
