Minister of Cabinet Affairs reviews plan of Disarmament and Reintegration Commission

The Acting Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Othman Hussein Othman, reviewed the executive plan of the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Commission for the coming period.

The Commissioner-General of the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Commission, Major General Abdul Rahman Abdul Hamid Ibrahim, following his meeting today with Cabinet Affairs Minister noted in in a press statement that he briefed the Minister of Cabinet Affairs on the activities and programs carried by the Commission and its plan for the next three years, the commission's relationship with the various federal ministries, pointing out to the role of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the implementation of the functions of the Commission.

Major General Abdul Rahman added: "The Commission's current plan was also presented to international organizations, and that the plan includes the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration process in implementation of the Juba Peace Agreement."
