Mandate of Ministry of Finance over Public Funds Approved

 A joint meeting of ministerial sectors of the Council of Ministers, chaired by Osman Hussein Osman, the acting Minister of Cabinet Affairs, approved a draft law on various amendments to the mandate of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning over public funds for the year 2022, which was presented by the acting Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim.

The draft law aims to affirm the mandate of the Ministry of Finance over public funds, by making the necessary amendments in the laws that conflict with the mandate of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning over public funds.

The meeting also approved the schedule of fees for the services of the Telecommunications and Postal Regulatory Authority for the year 2023, which was presented by the acting Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation, Adel Hassan Mohammed Hussein.

The schedule included licensing fees for public telecommunications networks, licensing fees and their annual renewal for wireless devices and private networks.
