First Vice President of the Republic ,Prime Minister Meets US Deputy Secretary of State

First Vice President of the Republic National Prime Minister General psc. Bakri Hassan Salih has met Thursday 19/November/2017 at his office at the Council of Ministers The American Deputy Secretary of State John Solvan in the Presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs professor Ibrahim Ghandour
Ghandour elaborated in a press statement that the meeting touched on the Sudanese-American relations and means for enhancing them outlining that the  American Deputy Secretary of State has stressed that his country is resolved to normalize relations with Sudan and it appreciates the role undertaken by Sudan in the region particularly in south Sudan .
Ghandour further affirmed that the US Deputy Secretary of State has affirmed during the meeting that his country is looking forward  to establishing normal relations between the two countries.
On his part the US Deputy Secretary of State said his visit to Sudan comes in the framework of holding talks with the Sudanese officials for looking into developing and enhancing relations between the two countries
