Minister in the presidency of the Council of Ministers confirms the state's relations with the European Union.
The Minister of the presidency of the Prime Minister, Mr. Ahmed Saad Omar Sudan is keen on strengthening the relations with the EU in all fields, commending the EU support for all issues of concern to the country, especially in regard to the preparation of the forthcoming elections and democratization, human rights and climate change.
This came in a meeting at his office on Wednesday morning, 15 November 2017, the European Union's ambassador to the country, Mr. Jean Michel دوموند Meeting discussed the conduct of relations between Sudan and the European Union and how to develop and consolidate a welcome as well as political consultation committees held in the period between the two countries which discussed issues of common interest, as well as the meeting dealt with the role of the Sudan in the fight against trafficking in human beings and illegal immigration and progress in human rights topics which have created a good impression of the EU toward Sudan, the meeting also discussed the grants provided by the European Union to Sudan since the 2014G and of the food program in eastern Sudan and Darfur and the rest of the states of the Sudan, especially in the field of education.
