The joint meeting of the ministerial sectors emphasizes the importance of community involvement in crime prevention
The joint meeting at the cabinet ministerial sectors on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, headed by Dr. Ahmed Bilal Osman, deputy prime minister, minister of information emphasized the importance of activating the efforts of community participation in crime prevention through the community committees and the intensification of Social Action and the implementation of advocacy and outreach programs to fight the negative phenomena and crimes inflows and plans to fight the drug cultivation and trade of non-traditional means.
The meeting reviewed the general characteristics of the criminal attitude annual 2016m which highlighted the low crime rate Index especially committed by women communications and reports of killings, looting and theft and fraud, which clarifies the outstanding efforts of the police forces and agencies involved in its implementation in order to prevent the crime with a view to implementing the judicial reform and qualification of the perpetrators.
The meeting commended the efforts of the police forces in promoting security and spreading peace in all parts of the country, and recommended that increased State support to stabilize the policeman and enhancing and strengthening the intellectual security youth and addressing the causes of unemployment, community awareness on the elimination of crimes associated with family and children and informatics.
On the other hand, the meeting passed the foundations and controls the preparation of organizational and functional structure in the framework of the program of reform of the State to develop performance in the civil service.
