Agreement of Prime Minister on Dissolution of Government Denied

The Media Office of the Prime Minister has denied the information published today (Saturday) about his agreement on the Cabinet's dissolution, describing these information as inaccurate in stating the positions of the various parties.

The Media Office stressed that the Prime Minister does not have a monopoly on the right to decide the fate of the transition institutions, and that he adheres to the points that he gave in his speech on Friday, October 15, as an approach to solving the crisis by addressing all its aspects through a dialogue in which everyone is to participate.

The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, is continuing contacts and meetings with various parties of the transitional authority and political forces to discuss ways to address the political crisis in the country.

He met on Friday with the military component of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and with representatives of the Central Council of the Freedom and Change Forces.

The goal of all these meeting is to protect the democratic civil transition process and to protect the security and safety of the country.
