The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, received in his residence in Khartoum on Wednesday the US deputy envoy for the Horn of Africa, Peyton Nove, as part of his current visit to Sudan.
Dr. Hamdouk has expressed thanks to the US deputy envoy for the continuous support provided by the United States government and people to the civil democratic transition in Sudan.
He stressed that the Sudanese revolution has set goals that the Sudanese have agreed upon, and they are much keen to take it to its end.
On his part, Payton affirmed the keenness of the United States to support the civil democratic transition in Sudan.
He also praised the efforts of the Prime Minister to reach solutions for the local and regional issues and challenges on his capacity as the Prime Minister of Sudan and the current chairman of the IGAD.
