Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk who chaired, Tuesday the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers the developments of the foiled coup attempt, stressing the necessity for the unity of the forces of the revolution and expanding the transition base to include all the forces that struggle for a democratic country that accommodates all.
“The existing partnership is our tool for the transition to peace, freedom, democracy and development, and t we must deal with the challenges and problems facing us with patience “He outlined.
The ministers were briefed by the Interior Minister on the stability of the security situations in the country despite the failed coup attempt and the peaceful protests for political and services reasons.
The cabinet was briefed on the details of the opening of a pipeline to export South Sudan’s oil as a result of the dialogue with the leaders of the High Council for Beja Chieftains.
Defense Minister briefed the Council on the army efforts to secure the Eastern Front following the activities of the Ethiopian troops which were monitored by the army on Sept 24.
The cabinet has also, approved the general feature of the 2022 budget
