Hamdouk Chairs Regular Meeting on Security Situation

The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, Monday chaired in his office the regular meeting on the security situation in the country, in the presence of the Ministers of the Cabinet Affairs, Defence, Interior and Justice and the Director of the Police Forces in Khartoum State.

The meeting reviewed a detailed report on the general security situation in the country, and another report on the situation in east Sudan.

The meeting was informed on the understandings achieved with the higher council for Beja chieftains and the breakthrough reached in the east crisis.

The meeting reassured on the surpassing of the issue of the withdrawal of the security forces from the headquarters of the Committee for the Dismantling of the June 30th Regime, as the police quickly assumed their duties at those headquarters.
