Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk and the accompany ed delegation met today in Juba the Eirst Vice-President of the Republic of South Sudan, Dr. Riek Mashar.
Dr. Mashar welcomed the delegation, affirming the necessity for building the relations between the two countries on mutual interests and projects.
Dr. Hamdouk expressed pleasure over the warm reception he received, affirming that the visit aims at discussing a number of issues, top of which, the File of the South Sudan Peace Agreement.
&”If we work together, the relationship between Sudan and South Sudan will be a lever for the region, especially since the two countries face similar challenges due to the transition and peace processes” Dr. Hamdoyuk stated.
He renewed thank To the Republic of South Sudan for hosting Sudan Peace Negotiations.
Following the meeting with the ministerial delegation, a bilateral meeting was held between Dr. Hamdouk and Dr. Mashar to discuss a number of issues pertinent to the File of South Sudan Peace Agreement in the context of IGAD in addition to the regional issues of common interest.
