Hamdouk reaffirms transitional government's commitment to youth issues

Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk has reaffirmed the government's full commitment to the issues and challenges of youth.

 Dr. Hamdouk, addressing celebrations marking the International Youth Day at the Friendship Hal here today, noted that the march of building the homeland would reach its goals, stressing that a country that has youth that were able to oust one of the most fierce dictatorships by peaceful means cannot be feared for its future.

Dr. Hamdouk said in his address to the Sudanese youth in the presence of a number of ministers, leaders of political and social work, civil society organizations and regional and international organizations that youth constitute the energies they rely on in building the country and the doves of peace and its builders and guardians.

The Prime Minister explained that the vision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of  (initiator, responsible, productive, creative, pioneer and leader in community development) youth reflects the vision of the transitional government for the role of youth.

Dr. Hamdouk stressed that youth should be party to all axes of the priorities of the transitional government so that young people are convinced that there is a future in their country instead of taking that dangerous journey across the Mediterranean to Europe.

 He affirmed that he would work to make young people essential partners in all steps of the government and in all fields to boost their pioneering and leading role in the journey of construction, securing democratic transition, protecting the revolution and reaching its goals, and transferring Sudan to the position it deserves among the nations.

The Prime Minister stressed that young people are the first and major bet for completing the journey of change to establish a solid democratic system, and for the success of the Prime Minister's initiative of (National Crisis and Transition Issues - The Way Forward), as it is an initiative to work together for a better future.
