UNITAMS National Committee meets Peace Partners

The Executive National Mechanism for Coordination with the United Nations Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan (UNITAMS) chaired by Ambassador, Omar Al-Sheikh reviewed, Thursday, with representatives of peace partners their participation in coordination with the National Mechanism and the UNITAMS.

The meeting focused on the facilitation of the mission’s work concerning the implementation of the strategic goals included in the Security Council; Resolution (24-25), the democratic transition in the country and supporting the implementation of Peace Agreement on the ground.

 It also, affirmed the necessity for organization of a joint workshop to discuss the development of the action plan regarding peace building programs of the UNITMAS
