The Cabinet Affairs Minister, Engineer Khalid Omer Yousif, said that the visit of the Prime Minister to the Ministry of the Interior represents the first visit to be paid by him after formation of the government of Sudan peace, based on his recognition of the great importance of this old and important body and its role for realizing stability and security and boosting the development and growth in the country.
This came in his address Monday at the Police Club to the commanders and senior officers of the Police Forces, in the presence of the Ministers of Interior, Finance and Economic Planning and Communication and the General Director of the Police Forces.
The Cabinet Affairs Minister has affirmed importance of the security organs in keeping security and stability in the country.
Engineer Yousif said that the Sudanese people have revived the spirit of hope to rebuild the nation after the glorious December revolution and after overthrowing of the defunct clan that committed unforgivable crimes against the people.
He underscored the important role of the Police Forces with all its units in making a success the transformation project.
On his part, the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Izzeddin Al-Sheikh, explained that the Prime Minister's visit to the Ministry of the Interior represents an honor and recognition of the role of the Ministry of the Interior and all its components.
The Minister of Interior pledged to move ahead in protecting the homeland and the citizens, praising the glorious December revolution which was characterized by its peacefulness.
