Transitional Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk has affirmed the government’s keenness to strengthen partnership framework with the WFP.
This came when Hamdouk met, Tuesday, at his office, the visiting Executive Director of the UN World Food Program, David Beasly in the presence of the Prime Minister’s Advisor for International Cooperation.
The Prime Minister commended the WFP efforts in Sudan which contributed to its re-integration to the international community
The WFP official congratulated Dr. Hamdouk on revocation of the country’s name from the terrorist list, as it considered step for facilitating the WFP work in the country.
“ The WFP will provide any assistance requested by Sudan to guarantee the stability of the Transitional Period” the WFP official said
