Hamdouk Eulogizes Sudanese Novelist Ibrahim Ishaq
The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, has eulogized the renowned Sudanese novelist, writer and teacher at the secondary school level Ibrahim Ishaq, who passed away on Friday in the United States.
The late Ibrahim Ishaq was known for his contributions in the field of literature, arts and culture an enriched the Sudanese library with many books and literature and published many articles and studies in the field of literary criticism and heritage.
He won the Arts and Encouragement Award, and assumed the position of the Chairman of the Sudanese Writers Union in 2009, and he was a member of the Council for the Development National Languages in Sudan, and participated in arbitration committees for a number of arts prizes in the country.
