Dr .Hamdouk affirms Sudan keenness to strengthen cooperation with Germany

The Transitional Prime Minister, Dr .Abdalla Hamdouk has affirmed Sudan’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with Germany in different fields, lauding the German stances supporting Sudan.

This came we Hamdouk met, Tuesday, at his office, the visiting German Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs, Pilip Kremen and the accompanied delegation in the presence of the Cabinet Affairs Minister, Ambassador, Omar Manis and the Acting Foreign Minister, Omar Gamar Edeen.

The Acting Foreign Minister said in press statement that the German diplomat conveyed to Dr .Hamdouk and the Sudanese people the greetings of the Federal Government of Germany explaining that the meeting reviewed the Sudanese-German issues of mutual concern including the economic and political issues, in addition to, German support to Sudan and Berlin Conference.

The German Assistant Foreign Minister outlined that the meeting discussed Sudan economic issues, announcing that his country will hold the Conference of Sudan Friends on Thursday of next week.

He said he congratulated the Prime Minister on the signing of the Sudan Peace Agreement in Juba and the revocation of the country’s name from the terrorist list, describing that as major achievement.

He underlined that he looks forward to meet the representatives of the Sovereignty Council, the civil society and the activists of December Revolution.

“Germany will remain committed to work for making a success the political transition” He concluded.
