The Acting Cabinet Affairs Minister, Ambassador, Omar Manis received, Thursday, at his office, the Visiting French Envoy, Jean Micheal Demond in the presence of the French Ambassador to Sudan, Emmanuelle Blatmann.
The minister expressed appreciation to the French President, Macron and the French people for supporting Sudan’s Transitional Period and their contribution to peace efforts and economic cooperation, referring to the French major role inside Sudan Friends Group.
“The French President for holding an international Conference for Sudan after the revocation of it name from the terrorist list affirms the good relations between the two countries and the French will to back up the Transitional government” He stressed.
The French Envoy conveyed greetings of the French President to the Prime Minister, Dr .Abdalla Hamdouk.
The meeting reviewed the distinguished relations linking the two countries since the Transitional government formed and the ongoing preparations for holding the International Conference on Sudan which is scheduled to be held in Paris during mid May, next year.
