Dr. Hamdouk decides suspension of proposals of National Center for Curriculum

The Transitional Prime Minister, Dr .Abdalla Hamdouk has decided to suspend the current controversial proposals presented by the National Center for Curriculum and Educational Research.

Dr .Hamdouk , in press statement issued, Wednesday, decided to set up a national committee including the concerned experts and represents all sectors of the community to prepare the new curriculum.

“The issue of preparing the curriculum needs wide national consensus” the statement stressed.

The statement pointed out that the current transitional period in Sudan is a consensus stage based on reconstruction and rehabilitation of a country that accommodates all, adding that the social movement and the discussion on the development of curriculum issue is one of the fruits of December revolution which opened the door wide for the positive democratic social dialogue.
