Hamdouk receives the Special Envoy of IGAD for the State of South Sudan

The Prime Minister and Chairman of the current session of IGAD, Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk, received today, in his office in the Council of Ministers, the Special Envoy of IGAD for the State of South Sudan, Mr. Ismail Weiss, who stated that he briefed the Prime Minister on the developments in the peace process for the State of South Sudan,
 
Mr. Ismail Pointed out that the meeting dealt with some of the difficulties encountered in implementing some files related to the peace agreement process in the State of South Sudan, indicating that the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the development of the peace process in the State of South Sudan, and promised to provide more support to the peace process in his capacity as head of the current IGAD session.
Mr. Ismail also added that the common goal of IGAD is to achieve peace in the State of South Sudan and the entire region, as a first step for further growth and stability in the region.
