Dr. Hamdok receives the National Initiative for Peaceful Coexistence in South Kordofan

The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk received today, the National Initiative for Peaceful Coexistence in the state of South Kordofan, this came when he met at the Council of Ministers, the initiative delegation headed by Mr. Yassen Mohamed Yassen, who explained in a press statement that the Prime Minister was briefed during the meeting on the results of the meetings that took place in Juba between the initiative delegation and the President of the Popular Movement North of Commander Abdulaziz Al-Hilu, he indicating that they provided an enlightenment to the Prime Minister of what was agreed upon and delivered a copy of the initiative and the joint statement, adding that Dr. Hamdouk assured  all that was agreed upon, and Mr. Yassen indicated that this work could contribute to achieving peaceful coexistence between the components of society in the state of South Kordofan added that: “The state of South Kordofan has lived a long period of wars and the time has come to congratulate peace like the restStates of Sudan. "

For his part, a member of the initiative delegation, Dr. Nasreddin al-Nur explained that they informed the Prime Minister of the efforts made by the delegation of the Peaceful Coexistence Initiative and the outputs that they took out from Juba, considering that social peace is the one that paves the way for a comprehensive and sustainable peace, indicating that the Prime Minister emphasized during the meeting that the relations between the components of South Kordofan are  historical and timeless "coalition of centuries and centuries", the prime minister valued the popular initiatives to build peace, Dr. Nasreddin also stressed the importance of such initiatives as they pave the way for sustainable peace, adding that the prime minister stressed the need for concerted efforts among the state's communities to address the issue of arms proliferation in the region, as it is one of the threats to social peace and peaceful coexistence among citizens. He added that the Prime Minister also stressed the importance of reaching the voice of South Kordofan communities for the coming peace in Juba, as they are partners and people of interest
