Manis meets the North Darfur State cadre’s initiative delegation to support development in the state
Minister of Cabinet Affairs Ambassador Omar Bashir Manis met today in his office the delegation of the North Darfur State cadres initiative to support development in the state, headed by Dr. Salah Abu Bakr Barima.
During the meeting, the delegation conveyed their congratulations for the recent of the peace agreement signing in Juba, and expressed their happiness with this great event, as it contributes to the return of stability to Darfur and all conflict areas in the country, which could return to normal life and integrate into the economic, development and cultural movement in the country.
The delegation of the people of North Darfur affirmed its readiness to support the efforts of the transitional government to implement the peace agreement and maintain peace sustainability.
The meeting also touched on many issues of concern to the people of North Darfur State and its capital El Fasher, especially the issues of basic services in the various localities of the state in the field of health, education, water and electricity, as well as issues of culture and information.
For his part, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs welcomed the initiative of the people of North Darfur to support the development of the state as a clear indication of the great transformation in the cohesion of the components of society with the government, indicating the importance of integrating official and popular efforts to achieve the goals of the glorious December revolution
