Manis: Change brought by the glorious December revolution has to be translated into the various state institutions

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Ambassador Omar Bashir Manis, addressed the introductory meeting of  the general secretaries and directors of the professional and specialized units allocated to the Ministry of the Council of Ministers, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mr. Osman Hussein

The Minister of Cabinet affirmed that the change brought by the glorious December revolution in the country is not a change in the shape of government only, but in all aspects of life, pointing out that the change we want for the various state institutions in the next phase is to translate the values and goals of the desired change brought about by the glorious December revolution and for it came for it in through  its slogans for the sake of freedom, peace and justice, with over all change of all methods and ways of work with doubling production and productivity in every subsidiary units of the Council of Ministers as well as the importance of setting standards in measuring performance so that the units of the Council of Ministers are a model and an ideal sample in improving quality Work for all different state institutions

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mr. Osman Hussein, referred to the importance of sending monthly performance plans and reports via the subsidiary Unit Affairs Department at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in order to allocated in the performance report of the Ministry of the Council of Ministers, in line with the requirements of the ten priorities launched by the government of the transitional period

Manis pointed to the importance of developing the relationship between the government institutions and the business partners in public and private institutions in order to reach a satisfactory level in providing services to the citizen, the Minister praised the patience of the Sudanese people in facing the effects of the economic crisis’s, he added that "Despite the challenges facing the transitional government, it is imperative to proceed to the core Homeland issues in order to preserve the unity and cohesion of the Sudanese people. "

Speakers at the meeting indicated the need to focus on indicators of the overall performance and the expansion of networking and systems computing to facilitate business performance.
