The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, Friday morning arrived in Juba, the capital of the Republic of South Sudan, to participate in the signing ceremony of the peace agreement.
He was received upon arrival at Juba Airport by the Advisor of South Sudan President for Security Affairs and head of the mediation team, Tut Gukwak, and a number of South Sudan government's officials and Sudan Ambassador to South Sudan State and members of Sudan Embassy in Juba.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to engage in a series of meetings with the movements, the government of South Sudan, mediation and Sudan government negotiating delegation.
It is expected that the two countries will reach results during these meetings that support joint cooperation between Sudan and South Sudan in various economic, investment and political fields.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by the Ministers of the Cabinet Affairs, Defence, Labor and Social Development, Youth and Sports and Foreign Affairs.
