PM receives telephone call from US Secretary of State

Prime Minister Dr. Abdallah Hamdouk has received a telephone call from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as he was briefed on the situations in Sudan in the wake of floods disaster facing the country.

The US Secretary of State affirmed the support of the United States of America to Sudan and its people during these difficult times, and that they would stand beside the Sudanese people to overcome this ordeal.

For his part, Prime Minister Dr. Abdallah Hamdouk expressed his appreciation for the US Secretary of State's call, and stressed the importance of developing cooperation and relations between the two countries in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples.
