The Council of Ministers held its regular meeting this morning, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 headed by the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk. the cabinet listened to an enlightenment from Dr. Hamdouk about the visit of the Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abi Ahmed to the country on Tuesday, August 25, where His Excellency explained that the visit It was an opportunity to discuss Sudan Ethiopian relationship focusing on issues such as the Renaissance Dam, which had extensive discussion at the level of the prime ministers and the Ministerial level, and issues of borders and regional cooperation beneficial to the whole region, indicating that the visit was dominated by the spirit of consensus and agreement to address problems in the African framework.
 
The Prime Minister confirmed that the visit of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to the country 
shape a sign of the development of the relationship with America despite the existence of files that need to be addressed, especially the issue of removing Sudan from the American list of countries sponsoring terrorism, explaining that the visit discussed bilateral, economic relations and debt treatment.
