PM meets political and civil forces to broaden base of consultation

The Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk began a series of meetings with the political and civil revolution forces, as part of efforts to broaden the base of consultation and deliberations on the transitional period and the challenges facing the transition process in the country. In this framework, the Prime Minister met during the past days, with the head of the National Umma Party, Sadig al-Mahdi, the Civilian Forces Group, the Sudanese National Alliance, and the Sudanese Professionals Association, meanwhile, he will meet during the current week with the rest of the revolution forces, including groups of the resistance committees.

The PM heard, during these meetings, to a detailed evaluation of the performance of the transitional government since its assuming of power. The meetings have presented the issues of completion of the transitional authority structures, the peace process, the required treatments for the economy, and the issue of justice and its implementation.

The meetings aimed at boosting unity of the living forces that led the glorious December revolution, and wide opening of the door for a frank and transparent discussions that would guarantee the reaching of understandings that stems from keenness of these forces on the success of the transitional period, and the move towards a broader horizons on the establishment of democracy, sustainable peace, economic stability and social recovery.

It is worth noting that the PM works for the success of the transition process towards democracy and to realize the goals and aspirations of the homeland’s loyal youths mottos of freedom, peace and justice, for which Sudanese people sacrificed their most precious youth, those goals which will not be achieved without a true partnership between the components of the revolution. The PM’s meetings comes from the

standpoint for strengthening of the political and civil forces that must act as a supporter of the revolution government, and the tightening of the links between them is a step for their gathering as a package that is difficult to break, and supported by the definitely victorious masses of the Sudanese people.
