Manis confirms the state’s concern in conducting expatriate issues

Minister of the Cabinet Affairs / Omar Bashir Manis affirmed the state’s interest in the highest levels in correcting the conditions of the Sudanese Affairs Authority working abroad and enabling it to play its required role in dealing with expatriate issues, this came while his meeting in his office the Secretary-General of the secretariat of Sudanese working abroad (sswa), Mr. Mckain Hamid Terab Damdom
 
The Secretary-General of (sswa) explained in a press statement that the meeting dealt with expatriate issues and conducts it in the coming period, noting that the meeting touched on how to address the negatives of the expatriate board during the bygone regime period. indicating in this regard that the (sswa) needs a major restructuring and review of its laws and reconciliation with the expatriate masses abroad and work with a new vision that attracts all the energies and capabilities of the Sudanese people abroad and their potentials and capabilities and employ them positively in the stage of building the Sudanese state in light of freedom, peace and justice
 
He added that, "One of the priorities of the (sswa)’s  work will be to reduction the issue of levies and the many problems that hindered expatriates" besides resolving corruption that is rampant in the board by reviewing all institutions and companies affiliated with the (sswa), explaining that the board will have a leading role in transferring knowledge and supporting development in the country
 
Mr. Mckain praised the role that expatriates played in the glorious December revolution, explaining that the secretariat of Sudanese working abroad in the coming period will be a national body that serves the interests of expatriates and return to them their grievances that were taken from them by the previous regime, announcing human beings for Sudanese expatriates with new tender to them in the Diaspora in the coming period, pointing out that the (sswa), doors is open for everyone who has an opinion and a contribution to the development of the administrative and technical work system of the board
