Manis Calls for Adherence to Directives of Higher committee for combating coronavirus

The Cabinet Affairs Minister, Ambassador Omer Bashir Manis, has stressed the necessity of adherence to the directives issued by the concerned authorities, especially the higher coordinative committee for combating coronavirus.

Addressing Sunday the employees at the Council of Ministers’ Secretariat General, the minister gave general guidelines for health awareness to the employees to prevent infection with the coronavirus, most notably the hand washing, refrain from hand shaking, ventilation at work sites, maintaining a safe distance with others and avoiding crowding, the use of wipes in the event of leaching, and medical protective equipment (masks) when necessary.

He pointed to the directive already given by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments with regard to performing the religious rituals at mosques and churches.

The Cabinet Affairs Minister has called on the employees to live up to their societal role and to disseminate heath education at the work and housing sites to prevent spreading of the disease.
