Prime Minister's Office: Press Release

The commission of inquiry into the events of Thursday, February 20, 2020, headed by the Attorney General, has been in operation since February 22, 2020. The commission was scheduled to complete its work and submit its final report within one week. The committee was able to reach a number of results during the scheduled period and submitted its first report. However, it requested the Prime Minister, for an additional time limit of five days, to fulfill the rest of the investigation, which includes the results of 

enquiries and forensic evidence, which requires more time.

The Prime Minister approved the committee’s request, which is expected to submit its final report on March 6, 2020

The outcomes  of the commission of inquiry and the commission’s recommendations will be announced immediately after the final report is issued
