Dr. Hamdock receives a message from the Somali leadership
The Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk received a message from Somali President Mohamed Abdullah Farmago and from his counterpart, Prime Minister of Somalia, Hassan Ali Khairi, related to developing and strengthening relations between the two countries
This came when he met today Sunday 1 March 2020 in his office in the Council of Ministers the Somali Foreign Minister Ahmed Issa Awad, in the presence of the Minister of Cabinet Affairs Ambassador Omar Bashir Manis
The Somali Foreign Minister stated in a press statement that the meeting dealt with strengthening and
boosting bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, explaining that the meeting touched on the role of Sudan in developing cooperation between the countries of the Horn of Africa through its current chairmanship of the IGAD
The Somali Foreign Minister praised the support that Sudan continued to provide to the government and people of Somalia, especially the support of the Somali students in Sudan, Noting in this regard that Somali cadres working in any region are graduates of Sudanese universities
The ambassador expressed his wishes to the government and people of Sudan for more success, and for the relationship between Sudan and Somalia to be more prosperous.
