Hamdouk Affirms Government Commitment of Respecting Human Rights

Prime Minster Dr. Abdallah Hamdouk has affirmed transitional government commitment of respecting human rights in Sudan on ground that it considered as basic right for all citizens. 

  Hamdouk gave this statement during a meeting Wednesday at his office with Human Rights Watch Executive Manager Mr. Kenneth Roth in the presence of minister of cabinet affairs ambassador Omar Bashir Manis and the minister of state for foreign affairs, Omar Gamar Al Eddin.

 The prime minister welcomed the delegation assuring   the government readiness to ease mission of   the organization on the situation of human rights in Sudan.

 For his part Kenneth praised the positive changes on human rights record after the success of the Sudanese revolution affirming the unlimited support for the transitional government on human rights dossier.
